Introduction

Hello. My name is John. I work for an agency in the government that specializes in paranormal research. Our points of interest are what the general populous refers to as 'paranormal hot spots'. Areas where there have been multiple accounts of ghost, haunting, poltergeist, alien, ufo, and cryptozoological activity. The way our division does this is by placing people in these hot spots and having them collect data. This may sound harmless enough, however it is the manner in which this is done which is terrible. Random people are abducted, given a sedative and taken to these locations. They are placed in a specific area in or close by the hot spot. If the location is a building, they are placed in one of the rooms. If it is an outdoor location, they are placed in a tent. There is also a perimeter of the area marked off with small orange flags. They awake with an envelope in their hand containing the following note:

   Dear (Name Here),

You have been selected for the purposes of a paranormal research team. You have been placed in a location which will not be disclosed to you. Do not attempt to leave the perimeter of this area. If you choose to do so, you will not be returned home. With you you have a duffel bag. The contents of this bag are as follows.
  • 1 Video Camera with night vision capabilities.
  • 2 Memory cards
  • A journal
  • A box of pens
  • 3 changes of clothes
  • 2 Hand held flashlights
  • 6 C batteries
  • 1 EMF Meter with Instructions
You will also find a box of food supplies and bottled water. You are encouraged to use the journal and video recording equipment to collect as much data as possible. After 3 days you, if you follow instructions and gather appropriate data, you will be returned home and paid for your troubles. We apologize for the way this must be done, however it is in our best interest that the location and history of the location not be disclosed to the subject. This way the data collected is genuine, and not based on knowledge of the location.

As the note states, they are left there for 3 days. After those 3 days, the subject and their equipment are collected. The subject is taken to the medical research lab, sometimes alive, sometimes not, to have extensive testing done. The camera, memory cards, and journals are brought to me. I create a case file for the subject, giving their information and the location information. I then upload the videos t, type up a transcript of the video, and type anything that was written in the journals. This information is all put in our database which is only accessible by a few select computers in our facility.   Once all this information is entered into the database, all physical evidence (the journals, the camera, the memory cards) is then destroyed. Essentially, with the exception of the case file and the database, all information is redacted.... or so they think. What I am gathering here is enough evidence to expose the company as best I can. Sadly, all  mobile devices and any devices capable of recording information are not allowed in or out of the building by employees. So the best I can do is to print copies of my reports, hide them carefully, and type them up again when I return home. I will continue to post data here as I receive it. Hopefully, once enough information is gathered I can expose the facility and stop them from harming people.
